Writer + Immersive Games Designer

Kevin is a writer and immersive games designer based in Toronto, Ontario.

As a game designer and writer at Secret City Adventures Kevin has worked on the development of the Casa Loma Escape Series set in Toronto’s historic castle, the Murdoch Mysteries Escape Game, created in partnership with Shaftesbury Films Inc., Lost & Found In Chinatown, an outdoor experience combining elements of scavenger hunts, escape games, and alternative city tours, and Where Dark Things Dwell, a large-scale game set in Black Creek Pioneer Village.

Kevin draws on years of experience in producing and coordinating arts and culture events, including four years of managing the Open Roof Festival, a weekly outdoor licensed live music and film screening series, seven years of coordinating press and industry screenings for TIFF, and ten years as co-artistic director of the not-for-profit Wavelength Toronto Music Series, which provided a platform for local artists to develop an audience and helped many reach international attention, as well as a writer, music producer, and creative consultant for two seasons of the SunTV variety arts television show King Kaboom. Kevin has also worked in a variety of roles with local theatres including Factory Theatre, Theatre Passe Muraille, The Toronto Fringe Festival, SummerWorks Performance Festival, and the Young Centre for the Performing Arts.

Outside of work Kevin enjoys anything new, whether it's playing games of all types, reading books and comics, watching films, discovering music, seeing new sights, enjoying coffee and cocktails, or seeking out adventures with his family and friends.
